What's Happening at HCE?

Scholarship Winners.  Congratulations to Jay Darrah of Havre for earning HCE's 2008 Workforce Development Linework Scholarship, Chase Dirden of Harlem for earning HCE's 2008 $500 Electrical Technology Scholarship and Donald Stuker of Chinook for earning the 2008 $1,000 HCE Member Dependent scholarship from Basin Electric Power Cooperative!

Annual Meeting. Mark Your Calendars for HCE's 62nd Annual Meeting of Members - 5/17/08 - Registration begins at 8:30 am and the meeting will begin at 10:00 with lunch & prizes to follow.  See you at the MSU-Northern SUB early on Saturday May 17th!!  Also new this year - Luck of the Draw Scholarships for members and member dependents in attendance planning to attend college in the fall!

Celebrate Youth Day.  Plans are coming together for Celebrate Youth Day 2008!  Invitations have been sent to area schools as well as home schoolers for this fun annual event on 5/23/08!

Rate Increase. We all dislike rate increases, unfortunately, HCE was forced to increase electric service rates on April 1, 2008.  Now is a good time to work together to keep energy costs reasonable.  Contact Kev for information on joining our Grassroots Action Team and learn about Our Energy, Our Future.
