Thank You for Joining Us for Hill County Electric's 81st Annual Meeting

Written on 06/01/2026

Thank you to all the members who attended Hill County Electric’s 81st Annual Meeting on May 12th, as well as those who participated through mail-in and electronic voting. We appreciated the opportunity to welcome members to the HCE campus for another successful Annual Meeting.

Members enjoyed a great lunch, visited with friends and neighbors, and had the chance to take home some excellent prizes. Events like these are a reminder that our cooperative is about more than electricity, it’s about community and the people we serve.

During the meeting, members voted on trustee elections for Districts 2 and 3. Robert “Bobby” LaSalle and Trevor Standing Rock ran for the District 2 Trustee seat. Bobby received 335 votes and Trevor received 139 votes. Trevor Wolery ran unopposed for the District 3 Trustee seat. Voting was completed by 21% of our membership. Congratulations to Bobby LaSalle and Trevor Wolery on their election results.

The Annual Meeting gives members an opportunity to stay informed, participate in the cooperative process, and help shape the future of Hill County Electric. As a cooperative, we are locally governed and member-owned, which means our focus remains on providing reliable service and supporting the communities we call home.

Thank you again to everyone who attended, voted, and continues to support Hill County Electric. Your involvement and engagement are what make our cooperative strong.
